CFFEdit

Here are the main features of the CFFEdit program :

  • CFFedit is the distribution files editor. It allows you to create or edit your distribution files by entering geographic coordinates (in various formats) and other properties
  • CFFedit runs under Windows (95, 98, XP, Vista not tested)
  • You can enter coordinates in one of the following formats:
    • decimal degrees / Greenwich
    • degrees-minutes-secondes / Greenwich
    • numeric UTM
    • alphanumeric UTM (MGRS)
    • Grades / Paris
    • British National Grid
    • Irish TM Grid
    • Lambert belge 1972
    • Lambert France I, II, III, IV, II étendu
    • IFBL (belgian floristic grid).
  • The datum management allows a very precise computation of coordinates conversions.
  • You can adjust geographic coordinates to a grid of your choice (e.g.: UTM 10x10 grid)
  • Data can be displayed on maps and new points can be digitized with mouse
  • Exportation towards one of the following formats: ASCII, MS-Access, MS-FoxPro, Borland Paradox and Borland dBase
  • Importation from ASCII files
  • You can setup CFFedit so you can search for toponyms coordinates into the CFFGazet database.
