CFFGazet
CFFGazet is a database of more than 4.700.000 toponyms of the world (excepted USA) with their geographic coordinates. CFFGazet can be accessed by CFFEdit in order to complete distribution files.
CFFGazet has been designed from the "Digital Interim Geographic Names
Data, Series: GZGN, Item: DIGNAMES, Edition:002" CD-ROMs published by
the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (formerly National Imagery and Mapping
Agency - nima.mil). An on line version of these CD-ROMs is available on http://earth-info.nga.mil/gns/html/index.html
CFFGazet is not downloadable but the CD-ROM can be ordered for euros 20 + shipping costs.
