Bombus sylvestris is the second most abundant cuckoo-bumblebee. it occurs from the middle of Iberian peninsula, S. Italy and Balkan to the South and crosses the Arctic Circle to the North. It can be found from Ireland to the West to the Far-East of Russia to the East. It inquilines mainly B. pratorum.
