Sébastien Patiny Atlas of the European Bees: genus GasparinahlaFirst on line 1.III.2012
Gasparinahla look roughly like a Flavomeliturgula. However, the shape of mouthparts and the developments of the males sexparts are quite distinct and provided the evidences supporting the genus description. Like Flavomeliturgula the genus (including one single species) is endemic in Iran (Fmavomeliturgula is nearly so).
